This month, we’re celebrating 45 years of tradition. All month, we’ll be sharing the traditional recipes that the A&S team enjoys during the holiday season—a little gift from our family to yours.
Here is a traditional Filipino dish from Jen Lopez and Dianne Mariano, two of our real estate experts.

Although there are a variety of ways to cook this dish, Jen and Dianne agree that these are the key ingredients you’ll need to make a traditional Filipino pancit.
– 1 (12 oz.) package dried rice noodles
– 1 tsp. vegetable oil
– 1 onion, finely diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced
– 1 small head of cabbage, thinly sliced
– 4 carrots, thinly sliced
– ¼ cup soy sauce
– 2 lemons, cut into wedges for garnish
- Place the rice noodles in a large bowl and cover with warm water. When the noodles are soft, drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.
- Saute onion and garlic until soft.
- Stir in chicken, cabbage, carrots, and soy sauce. Cook until cabbage begins to soften.
- Add noodles and cook until heated through, stirring constantly.
- Transfer pancit to a serving dish and garnish with lemon wedges.
