The 2019 Paws in Motion Walkathon
Thank-you to everyone who came to this year’s Paws in Motion walkathon in support of the Winnipeg Humane Society. The event had a record attendance with over 922 people participating in the 2.75 km walk, and enjoying the vendors and entertainment in front of the Lyric Theatre at Assiniboine Park.
Through fundraising and sponsorship, the event raised more than $123,452.75 for animals in need. This money will help the Winnipeg Humane Society continue to provide life-saving care for animals in need. The WHS performs thousands of spay and neuter surgeries annually and cares for hundreds of cats, dogs, and critters who are in need of loving homes.
A&S Homes is proud to have been a Paws in Motion sponsor and to have had the opportunity to work with such an amazing organization.
A&S Homes was at the event to celebrate everyone who walked and raised money for this amazing cause. The weather during the walkathon was perfect and allowed for a beautiful doggy photoshoot with our pooch-sized model home – the prettiest dog house in the city.
