Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized construction site, ensuring all sub-trades adhere to A&S Homes and Manitoba Safety & Health Act regulations.
- Provide clear direction to sub-trades to meet production schedule requirements.
- Efficiently coordinate the delivery of materials to the site.
- Conduct daily inspections, including follow-ups on completed work and framing inspections, to ensure compliance and readiness for City inspections.
- Ensure all work meets drawing and specification requirements at the designated quality levels.
- Monitor and ensure sub-trades complete work according to scheduled dates, updating production schedules at least twice a week.
- Foster effective communication with internal staff and homeowners to gather information and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
- Extensive leadership experience in construction management.
- Solid secondary and/or trades education.
- Strong skills in people management.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Effective time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer literacy, including email and information input into construction software.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing priorities.

Education:
- AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- People Management: 5 years (preferred)
- Home Construction: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 (required)
