WINNIPEG, June 28, 2017 – A&S Homes is a proud sponsor of Winnipeg Humane Society and has supported many of its events including In the Ruff and 1001 Donations. A&S Homes continued its support and took part in the 2017 Fairmont Winnipeg Paws in Motion walkathon.

On June 25h, 2017, 45 sponsors, 1,000 participants, and 500 animals attended Paws in Motion at Assiniboine Park and helped raise more than $130,000.

As an official Pet Pal Sponsor, A&S Homes invited all attendees, including pets, to post for a photo with Winnipeg’s finest dog house.

“We thank everybody involved in this event. Without them, this event would not be possible,” says Vice President of Business Development, Vince Spezzano. “We love bringing our A&S team out to events like this and banding together for a great cause. It’s a great honour to help the Winnipeg Humane Society.”

Fairmont Winnipeg Paws in Motion has grown into Manitoba’s largest celebration of pets and the non-profit organization’s largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from the event go toward the care of animals that need help each year.

Paws in Motion includes many activities for people and their pets at Assiniboine Park and at Paw Stops along the walk route. Participants are treated to live music, entertainment, local crafters & vendors, contest, and giveaways.
