A&S Homes debuts luxury doghouse at this year’s Paws in Motion

WINNIPEG, July 23 — Prominent for its dedication to building beautiful, modern homes, A&S Homes once again delivered — this time for the families and dogs who attended this year’s The Fairmont Winnipeg Paws in Motion (Paws in Motion) on June 21, 2015.

A&S Homes — committed to supporting the Winnipeg Humane Society — helped create fun-filled memories by constructing its first ever doghouse-sized replica of The Marquee II, a two-storey show home located on 40 Dana Crescent in Amber Trails.

Hundreds of dogs and owners lined up to have their pictures taken relaxing inside and outside of Winnipeg’s most luxurious doghouse.

“We thought this doghouse would be an entertaining way to celebrate these dogs and capture memories with friends and family,” said A&S Homes Vice President of Business Development, Frank Spezzano. “It was an honour for us to be there and take part in such a successful event.”

Paws in Motion has consistently been the Winnipeg Humane Society’s largest fundraising event. This year was no exception, as it consisted of 58 runners, over 800 walkers (30 of which were A&S Homes employees), and over 1,000 attendees.

“We take great pleasure in raising awareness and funds for an organization like the Winnipeg Humane Society, we know how hard they work to keep animals healthy, and we want to help them in any way we can.”

This year’s Paws in Motion raised over $200,000 for the non-profit charity.
